The Bronx is home to the history of dental hygiene for the women in Perri's family.
Perri is the youngest of five children and while growing up money was tight for their family. Her mother wanted more from life and returned to school when Perri was six years old.

There was, in fact, no money available for the reception and exhibition of Chaffey's 31st Student Invitational.
