When Allison Dumka, a political science junior, walks into the room, anyone can see that she is a girl with a sense of style. But unlike so many others on the UA campus, Dumka does not follow the masses by wearing Juicy velour, Rainbows or what the mannequin in the front window of Urban Outfitters is wearing.

Newsworthy Paris Hilton's first album, Turn it Up, came out on Tuesday and it's a decent portrayal of how manipulative a sound studio can be. The "about" section of Hilton's Web site goes into detail about the number of talented mixers and sound-studio technicians who had to work on the songs to make them marketable.

Moths: the emo butterflies

Moths are the tragically drab cousins of the butterflies. Little is known about them, and there are only a devoted few who dedicate their lives to studying them. Joseph Scheer, a professor of print media and the founder and co-director of the Institute for Electronic Arts at the School of Art and Design at Alfred University in New York, has brought his first Arizona exhibit to the UA Museum of Art to give everyone the chance to change their minds about these curious nocturnal insects.

The DVD version of "Scary Movie 4" is available in either a regular version or the "unrated and uncensored" version. The regular version of "Scary Movie 4" is mediocre at best.

East Coast rockers to hit Centennial for Catfest

If the hip-hop rock group Gym Class Heroes were as popular as the movie "Snakes on a Plane," they might just be on the cover of Rolling Stone. With a hefty but still growing fan base, this band hasn't reached the Samuel L. Jackson level of rock-hood yet, but it is featured on the soundtrack to the movie.

Red Hot Chili Peppers perfect 'Stadium' performance

When Flea burst onstage wearing a full-body suit looking completely tattooed from neck to ankles, I knew I was going to be in for a real treat at my first Red Hot Chili Peppers concert. A rain-soaked crowd packed Glendale Arena in Phoenix for the Chili Peppers' return to Arizona with bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith and guitarist John Frusciante jamming to a funk-driven beat around the drum kit.
