Wildcats vs. Trojans reaching sell-out
Issue date: 10/15/08 Section: Sports
Tickets to the Arizona football team's remaining home games are available, but few remain on sale for the Oct. 25 Homecoming game against No. 6 USC.
Arizona officials said all but roughly 200 tickets have been sold for the game against the Trojans and the majority of the tickets are singles.
"Our fans have definitely shown their excitement for the upcoming games against some very talented Pac-10 teams," James Francis, Director of Marketing and Ticket Sales for Arizona Athletics, said in a press release. "Homecoming is always a very popular game and that is certainly the case this year with USC coming to town."
The Wildcats have three other home games aside from the USC game, including this weekend's game against No. 25 California. Arizona officials said there are still good seats left for the game against the Pacific 10 Conference-leading Golden Bears, but seats are selling quickly.
Tickets are also selling quickly for the other two games, Nov. 22 against Oregon State and the Dec. 6 season finale against ASU, officials said.
There is a ticket package available, the Pac-10 Pack, which costs $84. It includes a ticket to each game, with the exception of the USC game, and a concessions stand deal worth $33.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.arizonaathletics.com through 2 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are also available either in person at the McKale Center Ticket Office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday or by phone at 621-CATS or 1-800-452-2287.
